Hello BRR Members!
As your 2016 President, I’d like to thank you for all of your hard work and support this past year. I truly enjoyed my year leading the organization, but it was definitely a group effort.
I wanted to take a moment to remind you of just some of our accomplishments in 2016:
These accomplishments would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our volunteer leaders and staff. The time and talent that they contributed to BRR in 2016 and over the years is truly appreciated.
On a personal note, I wanted to share two of the goals I set for myself this past year:

- My first goal was to do more business in 2016 than I did in 2015, proving to all members that being involved in leadership and being a successful REALTOR® are not mutually exclusive. I did it, with help from many of my fellow members, who were on the other side of the transaction. Thank you!

-
- My second goal was to engage more members in volunteer leadership at BRR for 2017. We achieved that by placing 15% more members in a volunteer role next year than we had in 2016. I am excited to see so many more of you giving back to the association, and I promise you, you’ll get more out of it than you know!

I could not have experienced these successes in 2016 without help from all of you; the amazing people at my brokerage, Group One Sotheby’s; my Buyer’s Agent Extraordinaire, Alexa Head; and of course, my husband, Cole.
I look forward to a great year in 2017 under the leadership of our new President Katrina Wehr, and I am excited to continuing to serve BRR as the Immediate Past President and your National Director. If there’s anything I can do to help you in the new year, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Again, thank you!
