The REALTORS® Community Foundation is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its 2024 Grantee Program, which supported four outstanding local nonprofits: CATCH, Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce, Life’s Kitchen, and WCA. These organizations have made significant strides in improving the lives of individuals in our community, and the Foundation is grateful for the opportunity to partner with them.
As we reflect on the success of the 2024 program, the REALTORS® Community Foundation is also excited to look ahead to 2025. Through a vote by our membership, we are pleased to announce the new grantees for the upcoming year: Boise Rescue Mission, The Jesse Tree of Idaho, Emmett Valley Friendship Coalition, and The Salvation Army. These organizations will receive vital support to continue their important work in the community.
2025 Grantees and Their Programs:
- Boise Rescue Mission: The City Light Home for Women and Children provides emergency shelter, meals, clothing, and supportive services for women and children in Ada County. With increased demand in 2024, Boise Rescue Mission is expanding its services to meet the growing need for shelter and resources in the area.
- Jesse Tree: Jesse Tree’s Emergency Rental Assistance program helps families at risk of eviction due to temporary financial hardship. Through case management, financial literacy education, and one-time emergency rental assistance, the program keeps families stably housed and helps them avoid the long-term barriers to housing and employment that eviction can cause.
- Emmett Valley Friendship Coalition: Focused on supporting homeless and housing-insecure individuals, particularly teens, the coalition provides essential services such as nourishment — providing food and hot dinners weekly —and personal care items. The organization helps individuals facing eviction, homelessness, or crises by offering emergency support and basic needs assistance.
- The Salvation Army: Breaking the cycle of poverty goes beyond a singular choice or task — it involves a shift in mindset. As part of their Case Management, The Salvation Army’s “Pathway of Hope” program participants are encouraged to take part in the “Getting Ahead” 13-week course which takes learners through self-discovery and helps them build resources for a better life.
“We are incredibly proud to support these impactful organizations in 2025,” said Julie Schott, 2025 REALTORS® Community Foundation President. “Each of these grantees is making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families facing difficult challenges. The Foundation is committed to strengthening our community by empowering organizations that provide critical services to those in need.”
The REALTORS® Community Foundation remains dedicated to supporting local nonprofits that align with its mission of improving the quality of life for residents of our community. We look forward to seeing the continued positive impact of these organizations in the year ahead.
