Local municipal elections took place on November 2nd, 2021. 13 of BRR’s 15 endorsements won their elections.
Some of the races were very close and our support certainly played a role in helping our endorsed candidates pull out close wins. That said, it’s important to remember we consistently focus our endorsements on candidates who/whom we believe are best for BRR and the community, not just who is most likely to win their race. We have a firm belief that BRR should be consistent and stand up for our issues, even if that means taking a loss or two.

Star City Council Seat 3 – Kevan Wheelock WON
Star City Council Seat 4 – David Hershey WON
Garden City Mayor – John Evans WON
Garden City, City Council Seat – Teresa Jorgensen WON
Emmett City Council Open Seat – Steve Nebeker WON
Mountain Home City Council Open Seat – Daniel Brennan WON
