Every three years, all REALTORS® are required to complete NAR’s training to stay informed about the Code, its various Standards of Practice, and any changes to it. The current three-year cycle began on January 1, 2022 and ends on December 31, 2024. Completing this training is a requirement of membership, so all REALTOR® members must complete an approved ethics course during that timeframe to remain active and in good standing.
Only approved classes will meet this requirement. If you have not completed a Code of Ethics training during this time, BRR offers an “Ethics — NAR’s Required Code, The 2022-2024 Cycle” class for CE credit that fulfills this requirement (check our education calendar for upcoming dates) or you can take the training online through NAR. Find the full list of approved courses in Idaho here.
BRR will be reaching out directly to members for whom we do not have record of the ethics requirement completion, so please watch your email for notifications and further instructions. Make sure you are subscribed to BRR emails in order to receive these and other important notifications. If you haven’t seen an email from BRR in a while, search your inbox for @boirealtors.com to check if our emails are going to your junk or spam. Whitelisting our email domain (@boirealtors.com) can ensure that your email provider doesn’t block us from sending you important updates.
