Boise Regional REALTORS® (BRR) has endorsed the Kuna School District’s $111.4 million bond measure.
“REALTORS® have a long history of supporting our local school districts. We actively work to build strong neighborhoods and cities and supporting children’s educational needs is an integral part of that,” said Debbi Myers, 2023 President of Boise Regional REALTORS®. “Voter decided bond initiatives are the only option for schools in Idaho to fund new capital construction of school facilities. Our association encourages our members and citizens of Kuna to vote “YES” on March 14th for the school bond.”
The bond measure is unique because the levy rate will not increase if the bond passes. This is due to the structure of the previous school bond, and the fact that the plant facilities levy will fall off in 2024.
The $111.4 million bond measure will fund a new elementary school, classroom additions to the middle and high schools, and other necessary renovations and additions to meet the needs of the rapidly growing school district.
