Intermountain MLS (IMLS) is moving to 10200 Emerald St., Boise, ID and will be open for business at their new location on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
Boise Regional REALTORS® (BRR) will remain at the 9550 Bethel Court, Boise, ID location.
What does this mean for members?
While many of your IMLS needs can be met over the phone or via remote support, the move will allow IMLS to offer more training classes and create a better member experience when you do need to visit the IMLS office. All of the Paragon, Instanet, and other IMLS training classes will be held at the new location starting on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. The email addresses and phone numbers for IMLS will remain the same. Learn more about the new location, including parking instructions, in this IMLS newsletter.
BRR will continue to meet your association membership needs at our current location, as well as by phone and email. BRR’s CE classes will be held at the same location, 9550 W Bethel Court. When we’re able to open classes and events to full capacity again, we do expect parking to get a bit better than it’s been in the past.
But what about new members joining BRR and IMLS?
An active real estate license with IREC that is associated with a broker is required to join any local REALTOR® association (including BRR) and the IMLS. Your REALTOR® membership must be activated before subscribing to the Intermountain MLS. So let’s review the steps:
1) Confirm you have an active license with IREC that is associated with a broker. You can look up licenses here – https://apps.irec.idaho.gov/PublicSearch.
2) Join your broker’s local REALTOR® association. If your broker is a member of BRR, you can join BRR online at boirealtors.com/join or call us at 208-376-0363 to set up an appointment.
3) Subscribe to the IMLS by completing their online application at imlsmembers.com > Membership Info > Agent Application or calling membership at 208-376-4657.
Under Idaho, City of Boise, and Central District Health orders and restrictions, both BRR and IMLS are accepting new members via email, and BRR is allowing limited in person appointments. When these restrictions are lifted, new members who come to BRR and need to subscribe to IMLS will be provided information on how to do so, whether in person at the new IMLS location, or online.
