Michelle Bailey, Boise Regional REALTORS® 2020 President
Boise Regional REALTORS® (BRR) 2020 President Michelle Bailey has been selected to participate in the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2021 Leadership Academy.
Members of this prestigious group, made up of twenty-five REALTORS® from across the county, participate in an 11-month training program designed to prepare emerging state and local volunteers for future leadership positions at NAR.
“NAR’s Leadership Academy provides one-on-one experiences and tools that equip volunteer leaders for future opportunities at the state, local, and national level,” said 2021 NAR President Charlie Oppler. “Volunteer leaders are crucial to our industry and by better understanding the needs and strategies of our trade association, Leadership Academy graduates can affect change at all levels of the organization.”
As part of this program, participants will develop, enhance, and hone their leadership skills while becoming familiar with the history and inner-workings of NAR and its leadership structure. A total of eight comprehensive, interactive online courses and in-person experiences will help prepare graduates to represent NAR and its 1.4 million members in the years to come – continuing the association’s long-standing and successful volunteer leadership structure.
BRR’s Chief Executive Officer, Breanna Vanstrom, had this to say on Michelle’s achievement: “[Michelle] has an amazing passion for the real estate industry, her clients, business partners, and her volunteer roles. Her work ethic and professional expertise have been, and will continue to be, tremendously valuable to our association and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her represent local REALTORS® at the national level.”
