Boise Regional REALTORS® (BRR) is pleased to announce that Lisa Martin has been hired as the new Chief Executive Officer. Martin comes to the Treasure Valley from the River Counties Association of REALTORS® in Cleveland, Tenn., where she also served as CEO.
“Lisa’s experience as both an association CEO and former REALTOR® shined through and elevated her throughout the interview process,” said 2022 BRR President Becky Enrico Crum. “Her experience in real estate education, advocacy, and professional standards will benefit BRR and have a profound impact on our membership.”
Having managed REALTOR® associations for the last 17 years, Martin comes to BRR with a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.
As a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Professional Standards Administrator, Martin has designed and written certifications to enhance education resources for REALTORS® across the country. The owner of several real estate designations, such as the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Fair Housing, Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), Green, Real Estate Data – Business (RED-B), and Certified Multiple Listing Professional (CMLSX I & II), Martin is committed to upholding the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
“I’m thrilled to join Boise Regional REALTORS® as CEO,” said Martin. “I look forward to working with the professional staff and volunteer leadership in serving members throughout the region. The programs and tools the association offers REALTORS® are top-notch, and I look forward to joining the team and continuing a tradition of excellence.”
Prior to her career in real estate, Martin was the co-owner of a prominent casting company, specializing in television, film, commercial, and music video production.
Married and the mother of three children, Martin will officially begin her role as BRR CEO on October 1, 2022.
The successful search for the CEO was made possible by an appointed committee of REALTORS®, led by BRR President Elect Debbi Myers. Other members included, BRR President Becky Enrico Crum, Carey Farmer, Chelsea Hough, Jeff Martel, Paul Reid, and Katrina Wehr.
“I want to commend the search committee on their many hours of hard work and diligence in selecting the right person for the job,” added Enrico Crum. “With the assistance of a professional consulting company, we were able to interview qualified candidates from all over the country, and we feel confident that Lisa’s experience and values match the mission and culture of the organization.”
