Boise Regional REALTORS® (BRR) is pleased to announce that Soren Dorius will be joining the association as the Director of Government Affairs. Soren is taking the position over after Miguel Legarreta left BRR after nine years of outstanding service, to lead Associated Taxpayers of Idaho.
Soren has been serving Congressman Mike Simpson for the past four years, first as Deputy Campaign Manager/Finance Director and then as a staff Field Representative following the election. Congressmen Simpson: “Soren has provided invaluable service to me and my constituents. While we will miss working with him on a day-to-day basis, we are thrilled at this opportunity for him join the Boise Regional REALTORS®. He brings years of knowledge, experience, and dedicated service that will prove to be an important asset to the Realtors. Idaho’s Realtors are a vital part of our state’s economy and have significantly contributed towards Idaho’s growth and prosperity. My staff and I wish Soren the best in his newest endeavors as the Director of Government Affairs for the Boise Regional REALTORS® Association.”
Prior to his work with the Congressman, Soren served as a Regional Field Director of the Republic National Committee in Ohio, was the Coalition Director for the Mitt Romney Presidential Campaign, and served as a Director of Marketing and Communications for a sports analytics startup. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo, College of Law.

That being said, working for Congressman Mike Simpson has truly been an honor and I will genuinely miss working for one of Idaho’s finest public servants. With the lessons learned from Congressman Simpson’s office, I’m looking forward to digging in and getting to work in my new role with the REALTORS®. This association has an incredible reputation of working hard and helping grow Idaho’s economy. I am excited to be a part of this new team!”
