Each year, BRR members are nominated by their peers and then selected by the Awards Committee — an impartial panel made up of past ROTYs, past presidents, and past winners of other BRR awards — for these distinguished awards. The Awards Committee reviews all nominations, taking into consideration each nominee’s involvement in the community and participation in local, state and national associations. The Committee may also refer to association and MLS records to consider the nominee’s industry spirit and business accomplishments, including but not limited to past awards received; participation in the BRR Honor Society; responsiveness to local, state, and national Calls-to-Action; investments made to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) or BRR’s Foundation; and/or, annual production.
