Our members are amazing — they use their time, talents, and resources to give back to the community in countless ways. And while there are many organizations and causes worthy of your financial support, here are 3 reasons why your next donation should be to the REALTORS® Community Foundation.
1. The REALTORS® Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization (hello, tax write off!) whose mission is to improve the quality of life in the Boise region though housing-related projects and grants. How do we accomplish that? boirealtors.com/connect/foundation/, but your donations help fund the annual grants awarded to local non-profits in December. Based on member feedback, funds raised in 2020 will be awarded to the following amazing organizations: CATCH, Education Foundation of the West Ada School District, Jesse Tree, and Life’s Kitchen. 2. You’re already doing fantastic things for the community — the REALTORS® Community Foundation allows us to do fantastic things together. Our collective impact is so much greater than what any of us can do alone, and it shows our community that local real estate professionals truly care and give generously.
3. We know you don’t give for the recognition and thank yous, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t appreciated! For each $20 donation made to the REALTORS® Community Foundation from Tuesday, February 18th through Friday, February 28th, the Foundation will mail you one (1) gala drink ticket as a thank you. These tickets can be used for any drink at any bar during this year’s REALTOR® Awards Gala! Please note: Matching gift donations are not eligible for this promotion.
Donating is simple — click the donate button on the right-hand side of the screen, make a donation, and insert your mailing address. Make sure you check the box allowing us to see your mailing address so we can send you your tickets!
