Recently, the REALTORS® Community Foundation (RCF) had the distinct honor of presenting each of their four annual grantees with $10,000 for their housing-related projects: CATCH, Faces of Hope, Life’s Kitchen, and St. Vincent de Paul. 2023 Foundation President Jamie Matzdorff and 2023 Foundation Vice President Josh Cormier were joined by other RCF Board Members to present the checks to grant recipients.
“Annual check presentations are such a rewarding part of our duties. We work hard throughout the year to raise funds through our Golf Tournament, Power of 10 program, YPN fundraisers, and other projects. It is always exciting to see that come together for these grantees who tirelessly champion for our community in their own, unique ways,” stated Matzdorff.
The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life in the Boise region through its support of local non-profit organizations and annual grants. Since its inception in 1995, RCF has provided over $1.8 million in grants.
The Foundation’s reach stretches beyond financial aid by also assisting annual grantees with service projects throughout the year. For example, the REALTOR® Outreach Committee — a committee tasked with the fundraising and service work for the Foundation — assisted Life’s Kitchen in a landscaping clean-up project and installation of a new flagpole.
The Foundation looks forward to supporting the 2024 lineup of grantees which were voted for by Boise Regional REALTORS® members: CATCH, Idaho Veteran’s Chamber of Commerce, Life’s Kitchen, and Women’s and Children’s Alliance.
