The Boise Regional REALTORS® Nominating and Elections Committee presents the following list of eligible candidates for positions with the BRR, IR, and NAR boards of directors. Online elections opened Thursday, September 9, 2021, and close Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Election results will be announced Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Member Expo. Candidates for each position are listed in alphabetical order.

Elizabeth Hume has been a practicing Real Estate Agent in the State of Idaho since 2005. Her production levels makes her a consistent Circle of Excellence member. During her tenure in the industry she has worked with five brokerages. This experience allowed her to see more of the industry, get to know many agents, and see the differences between large national brands and small independent brokerages. Elizabeth currently serves on a team and understands both the individual agent role and the team role. She served as a managing broker (Business Center Broker) for Keller Williams in 2018 and that experience helped her understand more about the broker responsibilities.
Since 2016, Elizabeth has focused on educating new and existing Real Estate Agents, teaching classes from annual Core to the pre-license classes as well as Ethics and other electives. She loves the teaching portion of her life. Teaching gives her a chance to make a difference and influence other agents to do the right thing.
Elizabeth works hard, always learning more about the industry so she can better guide her peers. They ask difficult questions and want to stay informed, and it is her job to learn more than they do. She is currently pursuing her DREI (Distinguished Real Estate Instructor) designation through REEA (Real Estate Educators Association).

Ed Sperry has been a REALTOR® Associate, REALTOR® and Broker since 1970. Ed started his career in Salt Lake City, UT where he served on the Professional Standards Committee, Chaired the Education Committee, Chaired the Political Action Committee, Chaired the RPAC Committee, and served on the Fair Housing Task Force that culminated in the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS® becoming a signatory to the Fair Housing agreement between HUD and the State Association of REALTORS®.
Ed served as the Regional Training Director for a national franchise and was the training director for a very large Keller Williams Brokerage.
He has been very active in Boise Regional REALTORS®, serving on the RPAC Committee, the Education Committee, and the Public Policy Committee. Ed served two terms as a Director for BRR and currently serves as the Treasurer and as a member of the Finance Committee.
Ed enjoys Emeritus Status and has been active in Real Estate since 1971 and was the first Associate Broker in the State of Utah.

Isaac recently spent almost a decade as the CEO of several large real estate organizations including the Idaho Association of REALTORS®. He has been an active REALTOR® in the Treasure Valley for over three years and was honored to be a BRR Top Producer in 2019 & 2020. He currently volunteers on both the BRR Bylaws and RPAC Committees.
He has been a Major Investor since 2009 and was inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame this past May. Isaac is also a proud veteran the U.S. Army JAG Corps Reserves and currently serves as the Board Secretary for the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP). Kelsey Wartman comes to us from the sunny state of Florida, having graduating from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s in Marketing. Kelsey was excited to move to Idaho in 2014 after meeting her husband Kyler, a Boise native, on the east coast.
Kelsey started her real estate career as a Business Development Representative with Alliance Title & Escrow and is the currently the Business Development Director at Silvercreek Realty Group. She enjoys helping real estate agents start and grow their business with one on one training. Kelsey volunteers her time on various boards at Boise Regional REALTORS®, the Communications Advisory Group and the Your Professional Network Board. She is an active member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Boise Metro and has held local and state positions on the board. In 2018 Kelsey was presented with the Affiliate of the Year Award for her continuous passion and dedication to the industry. This year Kelsey is also volunteering her time to the Idaho REALTORS® on two committees, the Professional Development and Safety Committee.

Krista Deacon has been licensed since 2006 and is currently the Designated Broker of Silvercreek Realty Group in Meridian, Idaho. With more than 14 years of experience in the mortgage finance industry prior to becoming a REALTOR®, she earned her GRI and broker’s license early on in her real estate career. While she’s only been in her current position for six years, she has earned the respect of her peers and the real estate industry.
She has been very involved with the community and serves on many committees. Krista is currently on the BRR Foundation Board while serving as BRR Director and NAR Director. As the CEO and Designated Broker she balances her passion for real estate in providing coaching and mentoring those new to the business as well as training seasoned Associate Brokers with a proven accelerated method of systems that foster successful and professional REALTORS®.
Peach started out in the Real Estate business at age of 17 while still in high school, working as a part time trust accounts bookkeeper for a broker who owned 11 Century 21 offices. As the trust account bookkeeper, she learned how to read and understand contracts early on. She stayed in the industry after high school and college and went on to own her own real estate businesses including purchasing her own franchise real estate company. She balances the workload of being a top producing REALTOR® while employing and managing several real estate offices or partnership in several states.
As your real estate agent Peach dedicates her knowledge and experience to best fit each clients needs. She is an excellent communicator. She is a coach and mentor. She stays on top of the new trends in real estate, so that her approach in helping her clients is never outdated. She is actively involved in the business of real estate, as well as the community of real estate. She loves to share her love of the business and knowledge of the industry with agents and peer groups across the nation.
During her real estate career, she has had the unique benefit of either being a franchise owner or a broker within some of the top real estate companies in the world: from being one of the youngest woman broker/owners at RE/MAX to her early start at age 17 with Century 21 in Colorado—as a partner at several Windermere franchise as well as an Associate Broker with Keller Williams—so has learned every system that big box companies can teach and she has learned them well. She gives back to the industry by sharing what she has learned through her “Rookies to Rockstars” One on One mentorships.
Her experience includes partnerships and ownership in a mortgage brokerage, a construction company and a property management company that had in excess of 150 employees and multiple investor clients. She continues to work as both a real estate investor and a real estate investor’s consultant.
Throughout her professional career she has helped 1000’s of clients realize their dreams. She has been a mortgage loan officer, a general contractor and a property manager—the skills learned from those experiences allow her to help clients as well as peers with finding solutions in each real estate transaction.
Peach is involved in the larger community of real estate by actively participating in membership in National, Regional and Local real estate associations.

Michelle Bailey has been a licensed REALTOR® since July 2006 and earning her Broker’s License in November 2009. Her background in law enforcement helps her separate fact from emotion, enabling her to better serve her clients and fellow agents. She enjoys being involved with the Association, learning about and sharing issues facing the industry and problem solving the best solutions for the greater good of all. Michelle has consistently been a Top Producer and has served in many different volunteer positions to help those that work in an industry she has found so much passion and enjoyment in.
In 2016, Michelle partnered with the Ben Kinney Team and now leads a team of amazing REALTORS® in Idaho. Their defining culture goes beyond just selling real estate. As a Keller Williams affiliated organization, her team shares the KW culture of serving each other, their communities and the planet. Phil Mount is an agent at Amherst Madison Legacy Real Estate Advisors, in Boise, Idaho. Phil became a licensed REALTOR® in August 2009 after a 25-year career as a technology marketing professional. Phil serves as 2020 Immediate Past-President of the Boise Regional REALTORS®, an organization serving over 5,000 real estate professionals.
Phil also serves on the Board of Directors of the REALTORS® Community Foundation, is a State Director of Idaho REALTORS®, and is the Idaho RPAC Major Investor Council member for the National Association of REALTORS®. The National Association of REALTORS® has recognized Phil as a RPAC Golden R Presidents Circle member since 2018, as a member of the RPAC Hall of fame in 2020. Phil has consistently been a top producer in sales since being licensed. Phil is a 2015 graduate of the Idaho REALTORS® Leadership Academy.
Phil was also a co-host of the Idaho Speakeasy Radio show from 2014 to 2019, broadcasting every Thursday on KRBX 89.9. Guests on the show included community leaders, entrepreneurs, non-profit founders, journalists, and economists in a discussion on community issues. Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Phil worked for Hewlett-Packard as an Alliance Manager in HP’s Imaging and Printing Business Unit, managing 3rd-party partner relationships with 50+ software companies who integrated their solutions with HP printing products. This role capped 22 years marketing technology products around the world, including 4 years based in Europe managing products and programs in the Europe / Middle East/Africa region. In addition, Phil held various senior Product Manager, Program Manager and Operations Management roles.
Phil also co-founded a technology-focused go-to-market consultancy that was bootstrapped to $3M in revenue in 4 years, with a client portfolio that included Fujitsu-Siemens Computers, Intel, Microsoft and HP. As a founding partner, Phil was responsible for all aspects of the business, from business development to account management and day-to-day operations. Phil holds an MBA in International Marketing and a BBA in Production and Operations Management, both from Boise State University, and previously attended the University of Oregon. He lives in Boise, Idaho, where he and his Golden Retriever Gus enjoy the lifestyle Idaho has to offer.

Per Section 11.5a of BRR’s Bylaws:
Once the approved slate of candidates has been communicated, additional candidates for the offices and positions to be filled may be added to the slate by a petition signed by at least ten percent (10%) of the REALTOR® Members eligible to vote. The petition shall be filed with the Chief Executive Officer at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the election.
