The Boise Regional REALTORS® Nominating and Elections Committee presents the following list of eligible candidates for director positions with BRR, IR, and NAR. Online elections will open Thursday, November 12, 2020, and close Sunday, December 6, 2020. Election results will be announced Monday, December 7, 2020, at the Member Expo. Candidates for each position are listed in alphabetical order.
Boise Regional REALTORS® Vice President (1 candidate for 1 opening)
Debbi Myers is a veteran of the local real estate scene, and it only takes a few minutes talking to her to see how much she loves it. Debbi is passionate about knowledge, education, service, and professionalism. She illustrates this passion in her everyday involvement in Real Estate sales, Broker duties, teaching, and leadership. Debbi used to tell her two sons – every night when tucking them in – “I am the luckiest mom in the world.” That “attitude of gratitude” spills over into every corner of her life. She considers herself very fortunate to live in and enjoy the beautiful state of Idaho.

Michelle Bailey has been a licensed REALTOR® since July 2006 and earning her Broker’s License in November 2009. Her background in law enforcement helps her separate fact from emotion, enabling her to better serve her clients and fellow agents. She enjoys being involved with the Association, learning about and sharing issues facing the industry and problem solving the best solutions for the greater good of all. Michelle has consistently been a Top Producer and has served in many different volunteer positions to help those that work in an industry she has found so much passion and enjoyment in.
In 2016, Michelle partnered with the Ben Kinney Team and now leads a team of amazing REALTORS® in Idaho. Their defining culture goes beyond just selling real estate. As a Keller Williams affiliated organization, her team shares the KW culture of serving each other, their communities and the planet. Their mission, vision, values and culture differentiate them as industry innovators and leaders. Isaac recently spent almost a decade as the CEO of several large real estate organizations including the Idaho Association of REALTORS®. He has been an active REALTOR® in the Treasure Valley for over two years and was honored to be a 2019 BRR Top Producer in just his first full year. He currently volunteers on both the BRR Bylaws and RPAC Committees.
He has been a Major Investor since 2009 and will be inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame next May. Isaac is also a proud veteran the U.S. Army JAG Corps Reserves and currently serves as the Board Secretary for the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP). He enjoys living in NW Boise with his wife/fellow REALTOR® Ellie and their three children.

Hailing from Long Island…..GAIL HARTNETT made her way to Boise, Idaho in 1987 by way of Ft. Lauderdale. She was a cheerleader in high school…… a Tupperware Lady in Florida ……and was licensed as a REALTOR® in February of 1992. Honored in 1998 as ACAR’S REALTOR® OF THE YEAR…..she served as President of the ACAR in 1999.
A member of the Women’s Council since 1995, Gail was elected to the National Leadership Team and served as the 2006 National President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. Gail served as the 2007 President of the Idaho Association of REALTORS®. She is a national speaker and currently is an instructor of the IDAHO REALTORS® LEADERSHIP ACADEMY.
The Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) for Congressman Mike Simpson, Gail was honored by NAR as the recipient of the FPC MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD in 2013. A strong believer in RPAC, Gail is a Golden R, President’s Circle member and in 2017 was inducted into the 2 Star NAR Hall of Fame having invested over $50,000 since becoming a REALTOR®……… What does that mean????? It means she puts her money where her mouth is as a passionate advocate for Homeownership and Private Property Rights.
A National Director, Gail was the 2012 NAR Regional Vice President for Region 12, NAR’s Liaison of the Public Policy and Federal Issues Group in 2016 and served as Vice Chair of the Fair Housing 50th Anniversary Commemoration Work Group! Gail was a facilitator at the first ever Boot Camp for NAR Chairs and Vice Chairs in 2017. Gail was just appointed as Vice Chair of NAR’s REALTOR® PARTY MEMBER INVOLVEMENT COMMITTEE.
Here in Idaho she is serving this year as the Chair of the Idaho State Public Policy Trustees and the BRR Public Policy Committee. In 2018 the Idaho REALTORS® recognized her as the IDAHO STATE REALTOR® OF THE YEAR. Gail served on the Advisory Council for the Idaho State Meth Project and is currently serving on the Advisory Council of the Idaho Women in Leadership IWIL. Gail is a TWIN (TRIBUTE TO WOMAN IN INDUSTRY) Award recipient and was honored by Boise State University as a recipient of the “Women Making History” Award.
In 2008, Gail ran for the Idaho State Legislature….Although she did not prevail, many lessons were learned which she is sharing with others interested in running for public office. Happily married to Ron for 51 years, they have three wonderful grown children….and five almost PERFECT GRANDCHILDREN….Chester, their Black Labrador pup, keeps both Gail and Ron “up to speed” In her spare time (pre COVID these days it’s ZOOM)~ she’s with those Grandkids. Baseball ~ Tee Ball ~ Gymnastics and whatever else they are doing…. A consistent Top Producer, she is listing and selling Real Estate as the Team Leader of THE GAIL HARTNETT TEAM at Keller Williams Realty in Boise.

Phil Mount is an agent at Amherst Madison Legacy Real Estate Advisors, in Boise, Idaho. Phil became a licensed REALTOR® in August 2009 after a 25-year career as a technology marketing professional. Phil serves as 2020 Immediate Past-President of the Boise Regional REALTORS®, an organization serving over 5,000 real estate professionals.
Phil also serves on the Board of Directors of the REALTORS® Community Foundation, is a State Director of Idaho REALTORS®, and is the Idaho RPAC Major Investor Council member for the National Association of REALTORS®. The National Association of REALTORS® has recognized Phil as a RPAC Golden R Presidents Circle member since 2018, as a member of the RPAC Hall of fame in 2020. Phil has consistently been a top producer in sales since being licensed. Phil is a 2015 graduate of the Idaho REALTORS® Leadership Academy.
Phil was also a co-host of the Idaho Speakeasy Radio show from 2014 to 2019, broadcasting every Thursday on KRBX 89.9. Guests on the show included community leaders, entrepreneurs, non-profit founders, journalists, and economists in a discussion on community issues. Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Phil worked for Hewlett-Packard as an Alliance Manager in HP’s Imaging and Printing Business Unit, managing 3rd-party partner relationships with 50+ software companies who integrated their solutions with HP printing products. This role capped 22 years marketing technology products around the world, including 4 years based in Europe managing products and programs in the Europe / Middle East/Africa region. In addition, Phil held various senior Product Manager, Program Manager and Operations Management roles.
Phil also co-founded a technology-focused go-to-market consultancy that was bootstrapped to $3M in revenue in 4 years, with a client portfolio that included Fujitsu-Siemens Computers, Intel, Microsoft and HP. As a founding partner, Phil was responsible for all aspects of the business, from business development to account management and day-to-day operations. Phil holds an MBA in International Marketing and a BBA in Production and Operations Management, both from Boise State University, and previously attended the University of Oregon. He lives in Boise, Idaho, where he and his Golden Retriever Gus enjoy the lifestyle Idaho has to offer.

NOTE: Once the approved slate of candidates has been communicated, additional candidates for the offices and positions to be filled may be added to the slate by a petition signed by at least ten percent (10%) of the REALTOR® Members eligible to vote as of forty-five (45) calendar days before the election opens. The petition shall be filed with the Secretary at least thirty (30) calendar days before the election opens.

Foundation applications will be forwarded to the Foundation Board of Directors for selection and appointment, and IMLS applications will be vetted by BRR’s Nominating and Elections Committee, and then appointed by the BRR Board of Directors.
