Award Nominations

Each year, Boise Regional REALTORS® (BRR) gives out five (5) individual awards: Good Neighbor Award, the Code of Ethics Leadership Award, Affiliate of the Year, Broker/Manager of the Year, Rookie REALTOR® of the Year, and REALTOR® of the Year.  Below you will find the eligibility criteria as well as links to the individual nomination forms.

Nomination forms for the 2018 awards will be accepted Tuesday, January 2, 2018 – Friday, February 2, 2018.

Good Neighbor Award

Nominee Eligibility

  • REALTORS® who are primary members of BRR, with membership in good standing at the time of nomination, selection, and when the award is presented at the REALTOR® Awards Gala on March 2, 2018, are eligible.
  • The previous year’s Good Neighbor nominees if the person who nominated them would like to re-nominate them a second year. (BRR staff to manage these nominations.)
  • Previous Good Neighbor (or Darlene Manning Humanitarian) award recipients are not eligible; visit com/award-winners for reference. Secondary members are not eligible. Members of the current Awards Committee are not eligible.
  • Members cited for an ethics violation (handled by Idaho REALTORS®) or a license law violation (handled by IREC) within the past two (2) years may be ineligible. This would be based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. (Based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. Details of any cases are not disclosed to the committee.)

Code of Ethics Leadership Award

Nominee Eligibility

  • REALTORS® who are primary members of BRR, with membership in good standing at the time of nomination, selection, and when the award is presented at the REALTOR® Awards Gala on March 2, 2018, are eligible.
  • The previous year’s nominees if the person who nominated them would like to re-nominate them a second year. (BRR staff to manage these nominations.)
  • Previous Code of Ethics Leadership award recipients are not eligible; visit com/award-winners for reference. Secondary members are not eligible. Members of the current Awards Committee are not eligible.
  • Members cited for an ethics violation (handled by Idaho REALTORS®) or a license law violation (handled by IREC) within the past two (2) years may be ineligible. This would be based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. (Based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. Details of any cases are not disclosed to the committee.)

Affiliate of the Year

Nominee Eligibility

  • Affiliate members of BRR, with membership in good standing at the time of nomination, selection, and when the award is presented at the REALTOR® Awards Gala on March 2, 2018, are eligible.
  • Nominees must have some level involvement at BRR within the previous two (2) years. This includes but is not limited to volunteer positions on committees or boards, including the Foundation, outstanding accomplishments and contributions, community involvement, participation in affiliated councils and societies, designations earned, BRR education, events, and activities attended, etc.
  • The previous year’s nominees if the person who nominated them would like to re-nominate them a second year. (BRR staff to manage these nominations.)
  • Previous Affiliate of the Year award recipients are not eligible; visit com/award-winners for reference. Members of the current Awards Committee are not eligible.

Broker/Manager of the Year

Nominee Eligibility

  • Designated REALTORS® (either designated brokers or managing brokers) who are primary members of BRR, with membership in good standing at the time of nomination, selection, and when the award is presented at the REALTOR® Awards Gala on March 2, 2018, are eligible.
  • Nominees must have some level involvement at BRR within the past five (5) years, which includes but is not limited to volunteer positions on committees or boards (including Intermountain MLS and the Foundation), outstanding accomplishments and contributions, community involvement, participation in affiliated councils and societies, designations earned, BRR education, events, and activities attended, etc.
  • The previous year’s nominees if the person who nominated them would like to re-nominate them a second year. (BRR staff to manage these nominations.)
  • Previous Broker/Manager of the Year award recipients are not eligible; visit com/award-winners for reference. Secondary members are not eligible. Members of the current Awards Committee are not eligible.
  • Members cited for an ethics violation (handled by Idaho REALTORS®) or a license law violation (handled by IREC) within the past two (2) years may be ineligible. This would be based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. (Based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. Details of any cases are not disclosed to the committee.)

Rookie REALTOR® of the Year

Nominee Eligibility

  • REALTORS® who are primary members of BRR, with membership in good standing at the time of nomination, selection, and when the award is presented at the REALTOR® Awards Gala on March 2, 2018, are eligible.
  • Open only to members in their first licensing period, or within two years of membership, whichever is greater. Nominee cannot have held an active REALTOR® membership at another local association within the previous two (2) years; applies to those who may have transferred membership and therefore, would not be considered as a “new” REALTOR®.
  • Nominees must have some level involvement at BRR since joining, which includes but is not limited to volunteer positions on committees or boards (including Intermountain MLS and the Foundation), outstanding accomplishments and contributions, community involvement, participation in affiliated councils and societies, designations earned, BRR education, events, and activities attended, etc.
  • Secondary members are not Members of the current Awards Committee are not eligible.
  • Members cited for an ethics violation (handled by Idaho REALTORS®) or a license law violation (handled by IREC) since joining/licensure may be ineligible. This would be based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. (Based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. Details of any cases are not disclosed to the committee.)

REALTOR® of the Year

Nominee Eligibility

  • REALTORS® who are primary members of BRR, with membership in good standing at the time of nomination, selection, and when the award is presented at the REALTOR® Awards Gala on March 2, 2018, are eligible.
  • Nominees must have some level involvement at BRR within the past five (5) years, which includes but is not limited to volunteer positions on committees or boards (including Intermountain MLS and the Foundation), outstanding accomplishments and contributions, community involvement, participation in affiliated councils and societies, designations earned, BRR education, events, and activities attended, etc.
  • The previous year’s ROTY nominees if the person who nominated them would like to re-nominate them a second year. (BRR staff to manage these nominations.)
  • Previous REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY) award recipients are not eligible; visit com/award-winners for reference. Secondary members are not eligible. Members of the current Awards Committee are not eligible.
  • Members cited for an ethics violation (handled by Idaho REALTORS®) or a license law violation (handled by IREC) within the past two (2) years may be ineligible. This would be based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. (Based on confirmation from Idaho REALTORS® or IREC. Details of any cases are not disclosed to the committee.)
